Friday, May 8th – Ribbon Festival CANCELLED

We regrettably need to cancel the Music Litericy Program (Ribbon Festival) due to Coronavirus. We hope to host this program again next year on the 2nd Friday of May.

Honors//Honorable Mention “Recital Alternative”

Due to quarantine, please have students upload a video of themselves playing their piece to YouTube or Facebook. Teachers can then share the video on their personal pages as well as the LCMTA Facebook Page.

March 9th – 12th – Music Artistry Program

MAP is a non-competitive performance that encourages playing and learning from an esteemed visiting artist. Visiting artists are experienced teachers with advanced training. Each visiting artist has been carefully screened by WSMTA, are nationally certified by MTNA, and many serve on college faculties around the Northwest. The wonderful Jennifer Hammill will be our visiting artist this year
